Accessibility
We aim to make BodyMI usable for as many people as possible, including those using assistive technologies or keyboard-only navigation.
What we do
- Skip link: A “Skip to content” link appears when you focus with the keyboard so you can bypass the header.
- Focus styles: Focused elements (links, buttons, inputs) have a clear visible outline (yellow on blue, or as set by your system).
- Reduced motion: If your system is set to prefer reduced motion, we turn off or simplify animations (e.g. speedo needle, list stagger, stage transitions).
- Labels and structure: Form inputs have labels; sections and landmarks use headings and ARIA where helpful. Results are announced to screen readers.
Standards
We follow WCAG 2.1 principles where practical. If you find something that does not work for you, we would like to hear about it. You can contact us regarding the development of this tool by calling 0330 122 1223.
